5. 1997-98 Denver Nuggets
This Nuggets squad, led by Eric Williams and LaPhonso Ellis (pictured), allowed the second-most points per game in the league that season and scored the fourth-fewest. Unsurpisingly, the Nugs featured five rookies, including Tony Battie and Bobby Jackson. After starting the year 2-38, they ended the season with a record of 11-71.
