The 1998-99 NBA season was shortened due to a lockout, which is a shame because it prevented us from finding out how low this iteration of the Clippers could truly sink. The team, heavily featuring Maurice Taylor, Michael Olowokandi, and Lamond Murray (pitcured), started the season with 17 straight losses, tying a record that’d stand 11 more seasons. They finished 9-41.
