The Hound and Sansa
In both the novels and the TV series, we learn about The Hound primarily through his relationship with a Stark daughter. The difference is that in the novels, it is Sansa who spends most time with Sandor Clegane, and it is through his conversations with her that readers learn his backstory. For this reason, the Sansa/Hound pair, affectionately called SanSan, is perhaps the most popular ship in all of “Ice and Fire” fandom.
