The Other Onion Children
Ser Davos Seaworth is the best character in “Game of Thrones,” and anyone who disagrees is just plain wrong. One horrible plot point that enriches his development is the death of his son Matthos in a firetrap set by Tyrion Lannister. In the novels, Matthos has three brothers, Allard, Dale and Marric, who also perish in the trap. This is fine – ultimately, the Onion Knight’s strength in the face of grief is probably more important to the story than the number of children he lost.
