Strong Belwas
Strong Belwas is kind of a big deal – literally. A former slave and gladiatorial warrior, Belwas is loyal to Daenerys Targaryen. While in the TV show Dany chooses Daario Naharis as her champion to fight on her behalf in Meereen, in the books, she chooses Belwas instead. Cutting the large fighter from the show doesn’t damage the plot much, but it does rob the story of some cute funny moments as Belwas plays off Targaryen’s frustration.
