The director and screenwriter of “Romeo + Juliet” dabbled in music when he released the 1998 hit “Everybody’s Free (To Wear Sunscreen)”. Later the Aussie decided to head back to films but with a musical twist like “Moulin Rouge!”. He was also involved in Broadway’s “Strictly Ballroom.”
