Penavega played Carlos Garcia on the series and eventually landed a job as host of the game show “Webheads” on Nickelodeon. He also directed and starred in the movie Spare Parts, with his wife, Alexa, and the couple sell gear and other items with their brand LexLos. He was also seen in the film “Killing Hasselhoff.”
