Eternally marching to the beat of her own drum, Icelandic singer-songwriter Bjork doesn’t jive with feminism’s “negativity.” “I don’t consider myself a feminist because I think it would isolate me,” she said. “I think it’s important to do positive stuff. It’s more important to be acting than complaining. For my generation, it’s important to do things instead of just complaining that things are not right. It’s important to collaborate with both males and females and to be positive.”
