Radio actress Eleanor Audley didn’t just voice Maleficent in 1969’s “Sleeping Beauty”. She had to wear the horny hat too, so animators could adopt her facial features. But she did such a great job, they brought her back to do Lady Tremaine, the stepmother in “Cinderella”.
