We’re not saying you have to be a serious white guy named Robert willing to poke fun at yourself to play Tony Stark. We’re just saying that before Downey Jr., there was Hays. Robert Hays, perhaps best known for his deadpan piece of comedic perfection in Airplane!, voiced the title character in the short-lived ’90s Marvel cartoon. Honestly, his performance really works, and we’d love to see Hays make an MCU cameo.
