I know, crazy, right? This church cost a million dollars to build in 1926, and as long as that sweet, sweet steel money was pouring into the town, church attendance was booming. Unfortunately, as Gary’s economy fell off, so did parishioners, and this OG megachurch held its last service in 1980.
