Agdan, Azerbaijan
After being occupied by Armenians in the 1993 Nagorno Karabakh War, this once-thriving city of 150,000 people was simply abandoned. Foundations and walls are all that remain of almost every building, with bushes their only inhabitants. The mosque, though covered in graffiti, remains intact.
