Ho Thuy Tien, Vietnam

This water park and aquarium, which still boasts a stunning dragon flagship building, started out as a great idea to attract tourists looking to cool off outside of the city. Unfortunately maintenance costs outpaced ticket sales, and the park was left to succumb to the encroaching jungle. The crocodiles once homed in the aquarium soon roamed feral amongst the vine-covered slides and paddle pools, necessitating a call to the WWF for rehousing in an actual wildlife preserve.
