Aaron Roward breaks his face
This catch wasn’t as difficult as others on this list, but it required balls — or a limited regard for one’s safety — on the part of Roward. With two outs and the bases loaded in the top of the first on May 11, 2006, the center fielder ran straight into the wall to rob Xavier Nady of extra bases, breaking his nose and leaving the field as a bloody mess.
