Two years before they moved to Los Angeles, the Lakers went 33-39 before stunning th 49-23 St. Louis Hawks in the West finals, only to get swept by Bill Russell’s Celtics in the NBA Finals. The Lakers were led by a rookie phenom by the name of Elgin Baylor (pictured).
