10. 1951-52 New York Knicks
The 37-29 Knicks were a middle-of-the-pack team in most respects, finishing fifth and sixth in offensive and defensive rating in a season with only 10 teams in the league. They were led by Max Zaslofsky’s (pictured) 14.1 points per game and were defeated by the Lakers in seven games in the NBA Finals.
