A year before falling to the Lakers in seven, the ’51 Knicks were upended in seven by the Rochester Royals. Hall of Fame forward Harry Gallatin (pictured) led the team with 12.1 rebounds to go with 12.8 points per game. In an 11-team league, the Knicks were ninth in defensive rating.
