Branch Davidians
David Koresh and his 100 followers were known as the Branch Davidians. Koresh claimed he could talk to God and that men could have many wives, including girls who were underage. In 1993, the order barricaded themselves in a compound in Waco, Texas that led to a 51-day standoff and the loss of 75 people, along with Koresh.
