The Manson Family
In 1967, Charles Manson recruited his own group of hippies who were anything but peaceful. Cult members did heavy drugs together and had to participate in mandatory orgies. Threatened by an imminent race war, Manson and his followers went on a killing spree taking the lives of several people, including actress Sharon Tate and her unborn child in 1969.
