The Freedomites were also known as the Sons of Freedom. They started out in Saskatchewan, Canada in 1902. The Russian zealots broke free from traditional Doukhobor beliefs and began protesting. They believed in anarchy, freedom, and nudity. To show their disdain for material possessions and the government, they burned down and bombed public buildings…while being naked.
