Villa Baviera
The Villa Baviera cult was also known as the Colonia Dignidad. It was founded by former Nazi Paul Schaefer in 1961. Both he and his German followers used a compound in Chile, which was believed to have been used by Chilean’s secret police to torture people during interrogations. Cult members were completely cut off from the outside world and they weren’t allowed to have relationships Schaefer didn’t approve of.
