Raëlians
In the 1970s, the Raëlian Church was founded in France by Rael, a charismatic self-proclaimed prophet and messiah. Raelians believed in UFOs, the ability to transfer consciousness, and that cloning was a step towards reincarnation. So it’s not shocking that in 2003, a follower claimed the order created the first human clone, but that was later debunked.
